Listowel Newborn Photography – Charlee

We recently had a few model calls in our little Listowel Studio for Newborn sessions. I think it’s really important to practice the things you’ve learned, and each baby will forever teach you something new. Our business is hoping to lean towards providing exclusive Newborn sessions, and learning is the most important part of that process.

This is little Charlee, and her model call has been one of my favourite sessions to date. This is a basic example of what a session gallery includes. Kind of the minimum of what to expect.

We usually start on the beanbag with our blanket backdrops, then move on to our wool flokati, and finish with two props, whether it’s baskets, buckets, or bowls. Everything is your choice, with some suggestions and creative insight from myself. Sessions are usually between two and four hours long, and we definitely have a cushy couch for you to watch, or nap on. ?

Newborn images are something I hold dear to my heart, and I think it’s because when my own kids were born I didn’t even know they really existed. I cherish the images I captured of them as newborns so much, so I know having these images are a beautiful memento of that time.
